棕榈仁油是制造肥皂、脂肪酸、硬化油、甘油、脂肪醇、脂肪胺与表面活性剂的原料,精制后可供食用及代替可可脂、人造奶油等。

1.性状:白色或淡黄色油状液体,有带果味的香气。

2.相对密度:0.925~0.935(15℃,15℃)。

3.脂肪酸凝固点:20~28℃。

4.皂化值:244~255mgKOH·g-1

6.不溶于水,溶于乙醚、氯仿、二硫化碳。棕榈仁油的组分和性质与椰子油非常相似,使用时常可互换。
