制备方法


用作磁性材料和荧光粉的添加剂,特种发光玻璃的原料。

合成制备方法


 1.灼烧法将硝酸铒或硫酸铒溶液,用氢氧化物沉淀生成氢氧化铒或其碱性盐,经分离、灼烧,制得氧化铒。

二氧化钍的制备方法是使钍在氧气中燃烧,或氢氧化钍灼烧。

2.溶剂萃取法。在2-乙基己基膦酸单2-乙基己基酯(P507)-煤油-RECl3-HCl体系提铒工艺流程如图所示。原料为氯化稀土分组后的重稀土,其组成(%)为Eu<0.3,Gd 8.8,Tb 3.0,Dy约5.0,Ho 2.3,Er 14.3,Y约10,Tm 1.5,Yb 6.73,Lu 1.37,配制成1mol/L RECl3,pH值2.0的料液。

用途


1.主要用作钇铁柘榴石掺入剂和核反应堆的控制材料。也可用于制造特种发光玻璃和吸收红外线的玻璃。还用作玻璃着色剂,使玻璃呈玫瑰红色

2.主要用作新型磁性材料钇铁石榴石和激光材料钇铝石榴石的添加剂。荧光粉的激活剂。反应堆的控制材料。此外还用于制备石油化工催化剂。

3.加入2%~5%铒至玻璃中,可得到特有的粉红色,使玻璃着色;在制造结晶玻璃时,需将玻璃中因三价铁离子引起的黄色褪去,可加入氧化铒补以氧化钕或不补氧化钕,可将黄色有效地褪去。
